Dr. P. Devakumar joined KVS in 1994 as PGT (Com) at KV Bangdubi(WB). In June 2002, he was selected for the post of Education Officer (currently Assistant Commissioner) and in April 2012 he was promoted to the post of Deputy Commissioner. He has worked as Deputy Commissioner in KVS RO Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and also worked as Deputy Commissioner (Acad) in KVS (HQ) for a short time. He is currently working as Joint Commissioner (Pers.) in KVS(HQ) from 11th August 2022.
